Possible to disable extension profiler?

I'm working on an extension which can be unresponsive for a relatively long time, due to waiting for an external process to start up. This is not totally desirable but is understandable to the user in context, and is unlikely to be fixable any time soon.

Given this, having the extension auto-profiler kick in during tests is not buying us anything. Is there a way to disable it, or at least adjust the threshold?

In case it's unclear, I'm referring to these messages:

Extension host (LocalProcess pid: 1159394) is unresponsive.
UNRESPONSIVE extension host: starting to profile NOW
Extension host (LocalProcess pid: 1159394) is responsive.
UNRESPONSIVE extension host: received responsive event and cancelling profiling session
