python.defaultInterpreterPath NOT set with a virtual environment isn't reflected properly #17125

Testing #17070

Scenario 3: python.defaultInterpreterPath not set, with virtual environment

I have installed python from the Store and don't have python.defaultInterpreterPath set.

When I open the with workspace, the selected one is the store version:

I just tried to reproduce this with logs and I can no longer reproduce this case.
