Ensure you have no entry for folder1 on box1 in the SSH explorer.
Ensure the SSH explorer is not open.

  1. Connect to remote SSH host box1
  2. Open folder folder1 on box1
  3. Close the remote window for folder1
  4. Open a new local window
  5. Open the SSH explorer
    -> folder1 is not listed under box1
