Type: Bug

Renaming a folder in a remote repository creates a broken state inside VSC where the changes can't be committed. An example error message is "The current workspace is not a valid repository".

Also got an error message that simply read "azurerepos://" with no explanation

This happened when just renaming a capitalized directory to all lowercase. Was also able to reproduce by creating a new, all-lowercase directory and pushing it, then attempting to capitalize it via rename.
