Testing #138068

When clicking on the "Pre-Release version" link, the Pre-Release readme is shown (which is a good idea).
However, if the content of that readme is not that different, the user will not notice any difference (and there is no obvious way to go back to the release readme).

I suggest to introduce some kind of banner:

I like the idea but This needs some UX exploration and study. Hence postponing this for more feedback.

For this release, I fixed the current flow

  • Removed the Pre-Release version link in favor of Show Pre-Release / Release version actions in gear icon.
  • Fixed extension editor to show the asked version
