When I click something in the status bar that opens a menu (for example, clicking a branch-name), the menu opens where the command palette opens, which is in a completely different spot on the screen. I don't think this is user friendly or intuitive. I'm lazy, I don't like having to move the mouse all the way to the top of the screen to select my choice, after I've already moved the mouse all the way to the bottom-left to open the menu. This is a long, arduous journey, and I might not have snacks packed.
Can there be some workaround so that menus that appear as a result of a status-bar click will extend from the location of the click?
