  • VSCode Version: Code 1.14.2 (cb82feb, 2017-07-19T23:34:09.706Z)
  • OS Version: Windows_NT ia32 10.0.15063
  • Extensions: none

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch Visual Studio Code
  2. Press Alt+F (or any other Alt+ menu combo)

Expected Outcome: File menu would open.

Actual Outcome: nothing happens.

Note: This issue appears to be intermittent. When I first installed VSCode, the Alt button did not work. Yesterday, it worked fine for me all day. Today it is not working again. I have not been able to identify a pattern yet.

Issue discovered to be related to Scroll Lock. Hadn't found the ticket before. Thanks to @monk-time for finding it. #19011
