Visual studio Code restart

Upon restarting Visual studio code, my workspace does not load. Unlike sublime, that stores your workspace, vsc does not open the last workspace that was opened.

@maxteebabs does this happen all the time? E.g. try this:

• start VSCode
• open a folder
• select File > Quit
• start VSCode

=> is the folder opened again?

I tried this now and it worked. My dell laptop usually shuts down unexpectedly. So when i restart, i lose my workspace. I will have to open it again.
Secondly, trying to fix the issue of my pc shutting down when not plugged in, i noticed that each time vsc comes up, i see multiple instances of vsc on task manager. Thanks
