Option to ignore known file extensions for file sorting order in the Explorer sidebar #59025

Currently file order in the Explorer view matches on the whole file name plus the file extension, including for known file-types. This makes the order of files unintuitive for me. See sample image below where I expected config.php to be at the top and config.stage.local.php to be at the bottom.

I browsed through the Features/Explorer settings and could not find anything related to this specifically. I'm using version 1.27.2

Ah, I believe the item Align explorer sorting with platform sorting in that list would basically do the same thing. Did not manage to find that by searching, thanks 😋

No worries, we have trouble searching most of the time ourselves
