Steps to Reproduce:

  1. In my case when i press ctrl+` shortcut the terminal is opening in a seperate window instead of within the vscode panel. And when I close the terminal window then in the notification I am getting this message : The terminal process terminated with exit code: 3221225786

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

do you're edited "terminal.integrated.shell.windows", "terminal.integrated.shellArgs.windows" or something else?!

I unchecked the Windows Enable Conpty and it works fine.
