Can not repro with default Chinese IME |
@scloudyy |
Reproduced this problem with default Chinese IME(Microsoft Pinyin), version 1.2.1 on Windows 10. |
Assigning to June for investigation, I am not aware of any recent changes in this area. @scloudyy @emeryao @Yukaii @Elderry I would very much like to bring this use-case to our IME Test as two items, once for Windows and once for Mac, but I would need it to be in a format similar to the ones existing:
|
@Yukaii Thank you! That is brilliant, I have added the test to https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode/wiki/IME-Test |
@emeryao Thank you! I have added it to the wiki - https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode/wiki/IME-Test#windows-chinese-test-2 |
I have just tested on Windows and the test provided by @emeryao works for me: I believe this might be a mac specific issue. |
I find this issue is not belong to VSC, it is a bug of amVim. if uninstall amVim, this issue will disappear. @Yukaii @Elderry @alexandrudima Maybe next time besides "VSCode Version" and "OS Version" we should also let others know what packages we have installled. @alexandrudima |
In this case, thank you for the IME tests, they are now in the wiki 👍, and let's track further the problems with vim extensions + IME in #8133 |
Steps to Reproduce:
When using Chinese input method to type one word, just like '沈' which is composed by 'shen', but there will appear a lot of unexpected words.
This bug appears only after 1.2.1
