Repro Steps
I have been using Ubuntu 22.04 for months and the mouse cursor has been a regular size. Yesterday (2024-10-01), I ran
sudo do-release-upgrade
within the Ubuntu environment and upgraded to Ubuntu 24.04. The upgrade appeared to be successful. After that, I rebooted my computer and upon launchingkonsole
, I found that my mouse cursor is extremely large when it is over the body of a Linux GUI application window. The cursor is large when over all of the applications that I tried (konsole
,kdiff3
andemacs
).Expected Behavior
I expect the mouse cursor to be a reasonable size when using a Linux application
Actual Behavior
See the attached video.
