A weekly report has been automatically sent on Friday mornings for many years now. We realized that Humphrey has never received this report – his email was not included in the distribution list. Abdul has been receiving it and has found it useful, but we all agreed that more could be added. The idea behind the automated weekly email is to provide information about three areas:
Malaria case trends
Management of DMSOs, specifically their usage/capacity/efficiency
Unresolved issues requiring ZAMEP intervention (epidemic threshold alerts, equipment problems, drug stock outs, system bugs)
To achieve this we will add a summary of the “Users – how fast are followups occuring” report as well as list all unresolved issues from the issues report. This will be sent on Sunday evening.
