Issue

According to https://min.io/docs/minio/linux/reference/deprecated/mc-license-update.html
This command is no longer maintained in the Open Source MinIO Server or MinIO Client product and has been removed completely as of MinIO Client RELEASE.2024-07-03T20-17-25Z.
However I was able to successfully use the command to update my local minio license, using mc version RELEASE.2024-11-17T19-35-25Z.

After discussing with @anjalshireesh:
This documentation seems wrong. The command mc license update has never been removed from the open source version.
It was removed from the closed source version (miniohq/ec) in the release RELEASE.2024-09-19T07-30-39Z

It is possible that this is the fallout of this minio PR (Remove license update job - minio/minio#20037) which has nothing to do with mc license update actually.

Proposal

Please remove this 'deprecated' legend from the website https://min.io/docs/minio/linux/reference/deprecated/mc-license-update.html
