I installed it from WP.org. But I'm a little lost as I'm interested in Scriblio functions and you give me links to BCMS that don't give the same functions at all. I downloaded from here https://github.com/misterbisson/scriblio and same error - I'm not the only one, there is a thread opened for the plugin on wp.org. |
@Li-An correct, bCMS would need to be installed with Scriblio. |
OK but there is no mention of bCMS in Scriblio description on wp.org. The widget is showing with BCMS installed but it shows only a "rotating" icon. On a test blog - default theme, no other plugin. |
I'd love your help drafting a new description for WP.org. Feel free to start a new ticket with updated language, or a pull request updating the
The widget is lazy loading. See it at http://search.gigaom.com/technology/encryption/ . It's possible that you'll need to flush your permalink rewrite rules now that bCMS is installed/activated. |
I pushed the current Github version to the WP.org repo and named the bCMS dependency in the release notes, https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/892379/ . |
About lazy loading: the widget works everywhere... except on homepage. Thanks for the update. |
I've never tested the widget on the front page of a WordPress blog before. Can you create a new ticket for that and share an example URL where I can see it in action? |
Notes to self: Leaving this ticket open until the core bug is fixed.
Also see WP.org thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-with-facets-widget |
OK, I understand that the plugin is not intended to be used on homepage but as it's a widget, it's not "easy" to manage this. Maybe you should complete documentation on the plugin to explain that. By the way: could you give more explanations on Scriblio Authority as I did not understand at all the purpose of the plugin - my english is not good enough, sorry. |
