Since June 15th, 2021, the building on travis-ci.org is ceased. Please use travis-ci.com from now on.

Now, Travis is no longer free after a brief trial period. It would be worth investigating alternatives, such as Circle CI.

Travis is longer free.

Also Github Actions may be another option.

Github actions seems to work well for OpenMC
We could get away with the free option of a 4 core machine and just a slow CI ?
