Tailwind recently released 4.0, but we haven't moved over yet, and trying to build the site with the 4.0 tooling does not work. The local serve command should be updated to ensure we remain on the 3.x series for now.

It seems the version of Tailwind shipped in Homebrew is also currently broken, tracked at: Homebrew/homebrew-core#205505

For now I am falling back to using the current 3.x standalone installer: https://v3.tailwindcss.com/blog/standalone-cli#get-started

Never mind, those instructions also install a 4.x series, since they just point to the latest GitHub release.
