There have been quite a few improvements in regards to mixxx UI and specifically star ratings (thanks ronso0).

This bug is about some strange behaviour of the star rating when it is changed in the library. Behaviour is 100% reproducible.

Reproduce

  1. set star rating for any track in library
  2. move mouse below star rating

Currently
The rating in the library remains blank until the mouse is moved into the track again (on any other column than rating itself, either left or right)

Expected
As soon as the star rating has been set (i.e. click on stars) that amount of stars should stick.

Relevant findings: #10839 (comment) and #10869

This no longer is a problem in Qt 6.5.2.

macOS 13.5.1
Mixxx 2.5-alpha-84-gde4e2cca61 (main)
Qt 6.5.2

Should #11111 be closed as duplicate of this bug here?

Is this issue still reproducible in 2.4?

2.4-beta-107-g32ee9ed246 is also fine.
