has anyone been able to reproduce? Seems like this could be a quick fix

Steps to reproduce (there may be more ways):

  • Create a folder "Music/MP3" in your home folder and put some tracks into this folder and its subfolders
  • Start Mixxx with a fresh profile
  • Choose music library directory: "Music/MP3"
  • Add Music/MP3 as a quick link -> "MP3"
  • Remove quick link "MP3"
    -> crash

Sometimes I needed a second try to make Mixxx crash.

The following fix prevents the crash:
#1630

This is only regarded as a hotfix! The management of the sidebar tree in BrowseFeature might be conceptually wrong and broken. I don't plan to analyze and fix this.
