Could we have a "Played" column in the Browser, just as in the Library?

The Browse feature bypasses the library by design. It shows the truth from the HD.
So the played column cannot be shown.

Your use case will be covered by the upcoming Folder feature, which is driven by the library.
The Browse feature will remain unchanged.
