We should explain why we maintain a separate test runner and why we not reuse existing tools.

Most prominent should be

Why not karma?
Why not jest?

This documentation can explain that karma was deprecated in April 2023 karma-runner/karma#3846, and they recommend Web Test Runner as an option.
