What needs to be improved?

I think this statement is incorrect or somewhat misleading:

"Validators are run pre-install; meaning that they are run before the main package installation happens."

I believe validators run at the beginning of the installation of the vehicle they are attached to. I could be wrong.

There should also be an example of attaching a validator.
