Speed up generation with cache?

We could use caching at various points during site generation.

This might no be so simple as each file can depend on other, e.g. a node's meta contains its own frontmatter and the frontmatter of its parent (and parent's parent etc.)

I think we need to measure where site generation is slowest and work from there.
