This is in order to provide users a secure way to install all versions of Molly without having to resort to less secure methods of installation compared to Accrescent (such as Github).

Cannot be done with how things currently work due to the regular Molly version having the same app ID. Molly would either need to have an app ID per variant, or Accrescent would need to add explicit support for app variants using the same app ID.
I don't think that Molly plans to separate app ID across its variants, even though that's technically the correct way to do it. There were talks of consolidating the various variants into one, but that may not happen.
Molly is already on Accrescent. Particularly, Molly-FOSS is. Not all versions of Molly are fully open source. The one in Accrescent at the moment, is.
I don't know what you mean by "If Accrescent team looking for closed sources apps,". Accrescent doesn't limit developers to only upload closed source apps. I am aware you have an issue with that, but coming to other issue trackers and finding issues about Accrescent to do this is pretty weird.
Is there an existing request for this?
