Bug Description

When attempting to link a device via QR code, it loads infinitely. When attempting to unlink a device, nothing happens. I am attempting these operations as a linked device.

I want to run a few tests before uploading logs. I'll come back to this soon.

I ran into this too and think I know what may be causing it. I initially set up Signal on my previous phone (iOS) and then added my current phone (GrapheneOS) as a linked device. I didn't transfer because there is no (1st party) way to transfer chats from iOS to GrapheneOS.

I realized it today when I looked at my linked devices on Molly and saw that my own device was listed. So I made a chat backup, uninstalled the app, installed the app again and restored the backup and now I can link devices since my device is no longer a linked device and is now the primary. Maybe this is something that can be improved in UX? i.e. a linked device should not be presented the option to Link a new device
