Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, the release process includes some manual steps.

Describe the solution you'd like
It would be nice to have to just call a workflow, and it takes care of everything.

It would be nice to also automate the community-operator release. Some other operators are released with a bot, e.g. k8s-operatorhub/community-operators#1855

Perhaps we anly need to supply the new version we want and the workflow can take care of the rest.

We could stick with the manual steps, but ...
