Failed to import from web ui

I'm trying to import the app from the web ui, but i'm getting the following message:
Server Error: {"error":"failed to git ls-files: fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git\n: exit status 128"}

I have mongoose os on an ESP32
