I'm using a Chromebook Linux(beta), and I did ./configure, but when I tried to run the command make, it says bash: make: command not found. What can I do?

You probably already figured it out by now but for people that try to solve this issue in the future:
You need to install gcc. The process varies from system to system hence I won't go into details on that.
