[Feature Request] Auto-conversion of text smileys ;) to emojis 😉

I'd like to use emojis in my messages in a quick and easy way.

Describe the solution you'd like
In many other chat applications (including Telegram Desktop for Windows, I believe), I can simply type ;) and it gets converted to "😉", either while typing or when sending. Of course, there are many emojis, but I expect this auto-conversion only to happen for the most common ones like:

;)   ;-)
:)   :-)
:(   :-(
:D   :-D
:p   :P   :-p   :-P
:/   :-/

Describe alternatives you've considered
The emoji picker gives access to all emojis, but requires using the mouse to pick one.
Typing : brings up an emoji bar, but it takes time and many key strokes to find the desired one. :laugh filters the selection, but then I have to remember all the names (which aren't shown anywhere).
All of these get the job done, but are much slower and cumbersome than just typing ;).
