Thank you for writing this software. I tested it out and works well! This is not a bug or issue in the software but a question about the BlackVue itself. After pulling in the garage, how do you keep it powered on long enough to download the files? It seems like it would take a half hour at the rate it downloads, but my car USB power shuts off and the BlackVue will shut off in about 5 to 10 minutes after parking. Would something like the extra BlackVue battery pack be necessary?

Are you hardwired in? You cannot control this from the BlackVue itself, I recommend using a low power cutoff device, which will allow you to control the power-off time of the camera (12.4 volts, 2 hours, 36 hours, etc.). You can also use the BlackVue battery pack, but the low power cutoff devices are a much cleaner solution in my opinion.

I recommend the LUKAS LK-350 over the Power Magic Pro as it allows setting 12.4v, the highest the PMP goes is 12v, which is far too low. If you only want a timed cutoff then get whatever.

Edit: This wasn't available at the time I installed my camera but I would have used it instead.
