Hi @Jim758
I added that information because we have seen some reports since late last year that some adapters based on the mt7921au chip end up in a bad situation on some hardware with some distros that can detect bluetooth capability when there is none. This ends up interfering with wifi in that wifi can't come up. It is not clear what has caused this problem and it could very well be a bad patch in the bluetooth stack but we have not been able to figure out the exact cause. Some reports seem to indicate this happens only on systems with AMD CPU's. Other reports indicate that it only happens if there is no other bluetooth support in the system then with certain adapters, they see this problem. I finally pulled the Alfa AXML out of the Plug and Play List as this was showing up too often with that adapter. This is a short version of the story. Our inability to track down the problem has been frustrating. |

On this page, scroll down to 3 and at the end it says Note: To fully remove bluetooth detection:
sudo rm /lib/firmware/mediatek/BT_RAM_CODE_MT7961_1_2_hdr.bin
Why do we want to do this?
