What is the problem you are trying to solve?

Why is it a problem?

Currently, there is no way a user can quickly find an item from history or bookmarks. The only option that the user currently has is to scroll down to the desired item which can be time-taking. Getting access to the desired information from bookmarks or history could be a frustrating process.

How would you solve the problem? What is your design proposal?

Search and sort options would be available to users in history and bookmarks. Users would be able to organize items in search history and bookmarks in a way that makes sense to them.

Following features would be implemented:
• Search: It will enable the user to quickly get to the item they want to access.
• Sort: It will enable the user to sort the library items on the basis of recently visited, frequently visited, site name in order to quickly get to the item they want.

How would you measure your designs effectiveness?

The design would be effective if it can solve the problem that the users have reported. Testing the feature on a small team and asking them to perform the desired functionality would do the job.

I'd be curious to see how this could look like if it was integrated in universal search – the one where you search with a search engine or enter a URL.
