It is very saddening to have to state again that Mozilla develops another web browser (namely Mozilla Firefox).
I understand there is no Gecko/SpiderMonkey alternative to using node/npm but Firefox exists and should be the default here when the docs are not specifically about Google Chrome.

The current screenshots show Google Chrome in action in several parts of the docs especially in this specific section https://github.com/mozilla/openbadges-badgekit/wiki/BadgeKit-Self-Hosting-Guide#running-badgekit
