I know that there are several issues, bugs around iOS e.g.: #18019 #17571
And often the great community knows already a fix and provides it via a PR but the most common response in the end is sth like:
"We focus on Firefox and do not implement browser specific solutions". Thats why often problems are not fixed for e.g. iOS.
And I agree with the process and I fully understand why this necessary and the case.
Im more wondering if there can be a process established like having a browser specific branch and release cycle? In the worst case a fork but I guess the "biggest" issue is splitting up the codebases too much. I feel like there is need in the community supporting more browsers and pdf'js is in my opinion the best library so I would love to see a solution. Right now I cherry pick the PR's locally with the fixes which is in my opinion the worst solution. Thanks for your feedback!
