About the name of the firmware
Over the years of existence of this firmware, from time-to-time some people ask why the name of the firmware is "Professional",
the short answer is that it is Professional because when I started with the development of the firmware there was a group of
professionals in 3D print that guided me in the implementation of the features that they required and they felt that the
stock firmware was very simple. They wanted more powerful functions and better flexibility. I was a newbie in 3D printing at that time,
I knew about firmwares and programming, and started to learn the importance of some 3D printing features with them. We form a
reduced group in Telegram and I made the firmware mainly for them, with the time the firmware was improved and I decided to
release it to the public. The name "Professional" is not about paying, it's about being made for people who use it not only as a hobby but also as a job. Nothing prevents you from calling your work what you want. You define your target. In my very personal case, I enjoyed building firmware so much under the guidance of professionals and, at first, target my development to them.
Donations
Thank you for your support, I receive donations through Patreon and Paypal
I'm happy and grateful for the donations but please don't confuse that with paid work. I do what is possible in my little free time, be aware that a donation does not give you the right more than my thanks (and Karma in the Telegram group) a specialized job like coding and compiling a custom firmware could be a work quoted in 3 digits. That said, I sometimes publish some content only for donors and patrons for example: https://github.com/mriscoc/Special_Configurations stores sponsored configuration files.
