It was just announced that Kancolle will be transfered to HTML5 by Spring 2018.
Will this have any impact on KC Auto?

@Danielosama it really depends on how much they decide to change the graphics and game flow, if at all. If they don't it won't affect kancolle-auto compatibility in any way. On the other hand, changes to the graphics will require updates to any outdated kancolle-auto (which could be everything), while changes to the game flow will require changes to the underlying logic and code as necessary.

Depending on the scope of the change (and how much time and energy I have to commit to it) kancolle-auto might be incompatible and out of commission from anywhere between a day or two to months... As a point of reference, kancolle-auto was 'under development' for almost 2 years. I've also been working on kancolle-auto kai as a complete rewrite and even that's been taking a few months.

@mrmin123 Damn, I sure hope it doesn't affect compatibility too much :x
I use it so much now for leveling and farming that I don't know if I'd keep playing without it xD
I don't think I can ever thank you enough for all the work you put into this!
