Is this the right place to be reporting bugs?

When ctrl+F for search and replace, then panel that opens at the top is covered by the main text window. I can only see the first row with the Find field, Find button, and the two checkboxes. The rest is covered, and it's not possible to scroll down nor resize the panel. When trying to move the whole panel to for instance the sideview, it's still shded/hidden below the first row. This time with blank background. Is this a bug?

Also what's the white line in the middle of the editor for?

Yes, it is the right place.

The white line is just showing the 80 character limit.

The rendering bug is ... a regression? I have never seen this behaviour before. We may hardcode the size of the panel?

That might be. Could it be caused by my environment kde's Plasma 5?
