Can we animate left/right drawer views instead of center view?

Hi,
Default behaviour supports animation of center view to left/right & opens left/right menu from below. I dig down the code to find out any configuration , to support animation of left/right menu which will come above the center view. But i couldn't find any. Anybody have done this ??
