Graph time range and comparison charts

Is it possible to to rather use start and end dates and times in the graph views. As opposed to only having the limited presets as there are currently - 5 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours etc

Also if a custom date range can be set it would also be great if you could compare to another range.
I.e. Compare this weeks temperature to last weeks, or this month to last month etc
