I'm interested in generating DMR++ files for some HDF5 files, is there documentation on how to do this?

But you would be better served to read the previous sections because HDF5 is complex and not all features are supported.

It's also worth noting that if you're building DMR++ for the purpose of using this particular library, you may encounter issues with what this library supports, usually in the realm of decoder support. If you do, please file an issue!

thanks @bilts before I even attempt to generate custom DMR files I'd like to test the DMR++ files already generated for ICESat-2 data. I wonder if this eosdis store for zarr will handle reading subsetted queries to those granules.
