Midea WiFi Question

Hi!

I am seeing a weird issue and just wanted some input from others.

I just purchased a Midea Dehumidifier 50 pint. I have tried to connect it to WiFi and for some reason, the app/device can't see my WiFi network. Any idea why that would be. The network is definitely 2.4GHz only and is broadcasting on Channel 11 to try to keep RF separation from my Zigbee network running on Channel 15.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Hi @iamk3 , sorry no ideas. I have Inventor and Comfee dehumidifiers (20L which should be similar in capacity), and both had discovered different wifi networks (I have several wifi and several zigbee networks, but I don't separate them - I leave up to wifi to decide the best one for itself). I did however had some trouble setting them up - it only worked through app with connecting to device's hotpsot manually and not using QR.

Thank you for this. I will have to try manual set-up and see how that goes. I was attempting the QR code method.
