A very thorough review of CILogon (major user of OA4MP) by the Australian Access Federation resulted in their report:

See section 3, in particular, 3.1.3.1 and 3.1.3.2. The risk is not terribly high, but plugging them should be done in the next release. Related to https://jira.ncsa.illinois.edu/browse/CIL-1877 and https://jira.ncsa.illinois.edu/browse/CIL-1878.
