dht22 won't work 4 me #1

I have installed the dht22 utility according to your instructions but if i run this in the /home/pi/bin folder

/.dht22 c 22

i get nothing

the sensor is working with the Adafruit library therefore the sensor is correctly connected. (GPIO22).

Do anyone have an idea what i should do?

Which RasPi?
Did you have the latest wiringPi/gpio installed?

It is hard to debug from "it didn't work".

Hello,

it is also not working for me! Did step by step the installation, with no errors, but when putting
/.dht22 c 7 I have nothing even after a loooooong waiting time! I use Raspberry 3b with Jessey installed

thank you for your help! (also, I am TOTALY new in this!!!)
