Environment

  • Python version: 3.6.8
  • NetBox version: 2.6.5

Proposed Functionality

Introduce the ability to edit existing device component templates (console ports, power ports, interfaces, etc.) when viewing a device type. This can be done by reusing the ObjectEditView utility view.

Use Case

Currently, device components must be deleted and recreated to effect changes to their attributes. This is tedious and unintuitive.
