NB I was the one to enable Issues here, since I am not sure if upstream (CC @pauldmccarthy) is interested in maintaining debian packaging (debian branch upstream is also as outdated).

Hey @yarikoptic I have no experience in creating debian packages, but if it can be automated I'm happy to build it into my existing CI infrastructure..
