Maybe there should be a NEURON twitter? Twitter is very popular today with neuroscientists. I think it will be very efficient in communicating the changes/news.

@ramcdougal I'm not familiar with twitter for this purpose. Do you have an opinion with regard to usefulness?

I essentially only use Twitter for science.

I'm in favor of this; the only thing is there has to be content semi-frequently or people will have no reason to follow the NEURON twitter feed.

For what it's worth, @SenseLabProject (which includes ModelDB) has 643 followers, many if not most of whom identify in some way as interested in neuroscience.
