Chat field not correct #800
Comments
Hello :) |
Just enter a XMPP address in any external client like Thunderbird or in Android, and sync it with NC.
|
@mase76, it's easier for us developers to have a dedicated example of the issue you encounter. It also helps us speed things up. |
Here is an example, created with TB, synced to NC with Dav-4-TBsync and exported with the NC contacts app. Importing this again in TB ends in empty chat fields. BEGIN:VCARD |
Thanks!

Hi!
When editing the chat field from Thunderbird or in Android, for examble Jabber, it is not identified
correctly in Nextcloud. I see the chat field with not type, and its contend is xmpp:.
I wonder, editing a chat field with no type is not possible inside the contacts app.
First I used the Sogo connector in Tunderbird and now Dav-4-TBsync, both the same behaviour.
With Android I use Davdroid.
I filed a bug in Dav-4-TBsync, and the dev checked it against Owncloud, where it was identified
correctly.
