Date format should use users language default [$5 awarded] #330
Comments
Use the settings from nextcloud/server#5623 once that is in. |
Anything new on that topic here? |
@juliushaertl, it's already using user's locale to display the dates. The only piece that does not respect user's locale is the due date field value. Am I missing something? Thank you. |
@willianveiga Yes, that is exactly what this issue is about. The input field for due dates is now hardcoded to the YYYY-MM-DD but should use the users personal settings. |
Great, @juliushaertl! |
@willianveiga I've invited you to the repo, once you are a member, I can assign you. Great that you want to tackle that. |
Great, @juliushaertl! Thank you very much! 😄 |
Thanks for fixing @willianveiga Don't forget to claim your bounty. Also further contributions are always welcome 😉 |
Thank you very much, @juliushaertl. I've claimed my bounty. Sure! I've been looking for new issues to fix 😄 |
We should use the users language to render the dates in the regional specific formats.
