Issue to release 1.0.

Verify with team that we also need to update our helm chart version to 1.0.0.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Once the release is out, update the manifest installation/upgrade document to use the new method of installing artifacts via kubectl apply -f https://github.com/nginxinc/nginx-gateway-fabric/releases/download/v1.0.0/crds.yaml and kubectl apply -f https://github.com/nginxinc/nginx-gateway-fabric/releases/download/v1.0.0/nginx-gateway.yaml. Include instructions on creating a service to work with NGF, by using a command like kubectl apply -f https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nginxinc/nginx-gateway-fabric/v0.6.0/deploy/manifests/service/nodeport.yaml.
  • The release process doc is updated to mention testing our examples before release.
  • The release process doc is updated to mention updating the tag in the above commands after every new release.
  • The release process doc is updated to mention published artifacts are manually tested at the very end.
  • Remove mention of NGF being a "beta" product in our README.
