v1.4.2 - mostly the same but without strange noises
We resolved an issue with the brightness slider in the menu bar, which caused unusual noises when used while the settings window was open.
v1.4.1 - A polished v1.4.0
We are happy to introduce v1.4.1, a more polished version of v1.4.0.
Fixed bugs:
- The menu brightness slider disappeared when the brightness toggle shortcut was removed
v1.4.0 - Introducing Automation
We at BrightIntosh are happy to introduce a new exciting feature: Automatic deactivation.
This feature allows users to set a battery level threshold. Once the level falls below the specified value, BrightIntosh automatically deactivates increased brightness.
BrightIntosh 1.4.0 also comes with a new brightness slider in its menu bar item allowing you to quickly set the maximum brightness from there.
Other than that we added a new 'Advanced' tab to the settings window which contains settings the average user does not necessarily need. This version introduces a legacy technique for increased brightness which overlays and multiplies the entire screen with an all white window. This may come with the benefit of more accurate colors but it does not work well with Mission Control, HDR videos, the screenshot tool or while switching Spaces.
v1.3.0 - Introducing Settings Window Pro
BrightIntosh v1.3.0
We at BrightIntosh are happy to introduce our next-generation Settings Window Pro!
This new window allows you to customize the keyboard shortcuts that control BrightIntosh.
Other than that it contains every other setting or button which previously bloated the menu.
We really think our users will love it!
There is one more thing!
We have added a new feature that allows you to change the intensity of the increased brightness.
You can now get anything between 1000 and 1600 nits!
v1.2.3 - grey is not white!
Bright colors were indistinguishable when they appeared next to each other but that's in the past!
v1.2.1 New icon!
BrightIntosh got a new icon which fits better with the rest of your launchpad!
v1.2.0 Updater included
This new version of BrightIntosh features a built-in update tool.
Tweaks:
- You shouldn't see a bright white pixel in the lower left corner anymore
v1.1.1 Bug fixes and MacOS Monterey support
BrightIntosh now runs on MacOS 12 Monterey, too!
Bug Fixes:
- State of increased brightness toggle wasn't getting stored properly
v1.1.0 This is the best update we ever made!
Previously, our application's brightness enhancement might have been elusive in certain corners, like Mission Control. But worry no more! Version 1.1 has tackled this challenge head-on. Your cursor also shines brighter than ever.
We really think our users will love it!
